El Abd is a Senior Researcher at the Access to Knowledge for Development Center (A2K4D) at American University in Cairo (AUC). The A2K4D Center is a regional unit for scholarship, research and policy analysis on intellectual property and human development in Egypt and the Arab World. El Abd is currently pursuing her Master’s in Economics in International Development at AUC.
