Wafula is Programme Manager of the Intellectual Property and Innovation programme at Innovative Lawyering (IL) & Sihanya Mentoring (SM), and he is also serving as the firm’s acting Programme Manager for Constitutionalism, Land and Natural Resource Law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi, and is pursuing a postgraduate diploma at the Kenya School of Law (KSL), a prerequisite for admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Wafula has worked on  research, public interest law, consulting, and mentoring projects at Innovative Lawyering (IL) & Sihanya Mentoring (SM) since joining the firm in November 2008.
