Sarah Thuswaldner is currently pursuing her JD in law at the University of Ottawa. Sarah has a Bachelor’s of Journalism degree from Carleton University, with minors in English and History. She also participated in a one-year study abroad program in England as part of her Bachelor’s. Sarah has extensive communications experience both within and outside of academia. During her undergraduate degree, she was published in Capital News Online, Centretown News, and the Ottawa Citizen. After graduating, Sarah worked as a communications writer in Ottawa. Most recently, she worked as a Technoship Student on the eQuality Project, where she was their communications coordinator and research assistant. Sarah is particularly interested in research pertaining to intellectual property protection for entrepreneurs.
