Mbulelo Ncolosi is a Research Assistant at the IP Unit of the University of Cape Town and is an Open AIR Fellow as well as an intern with the ASK Justice project. Mbulelo is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and received his BA from Rhodes University, where he specialized in legal theory and economics. Previously, Mbulelo was an intern at the Legal Resources Center (LRC) in Grahamstown, South Africa, and assisted in both the 2013 and 2014 Telkom Highway Africa Conference. Twice, Mbulelo has been selected to participate in the Vacation Work Student program, with both the law firms Bowman Gilfillan Inc. and Webber Wentzel. Mbulelo is interested in student governance and is the current Academic Chair of the Law Students’ Council (LSC) as well as being involved in the Decolonise UCT Law movement.
