Alexandra Mogyoros is a Doctorate (DPhil) in Law Candidate at the University of Oxford, and serves as Co-Convener of the Oxford Intellectual Property Discussion Group, as a Researcher for Oxford Pro Bono Publico, and as Chief Clerk and Organising Committee Member of the Oxford Intellectual Property Research Centre’s International Intellectual Property Moot.
Mogyoros’s areas of focus are at the intersections of health, technology, tort law, and intellectual property, and she has experience researching scenarios and foresight at the ESRC Centre for Social and Economic Research on Innovation in Genomics at the University of Edinburgh,.
Mogyoros holds a BCL (postgraduate taught degree in law) from the University of Oxford; a Doctor of Law (JD) in Common Law from the
University of Ottawa; a Certificate in Bioethics and Medical Ethics from Yale University; and a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Guelph in Canada. She is a former Fellow of the Ontario Genomics Institute. Mogoyoros joined Open AIR in 2012 as a Research Fellow, based at the network’s Canada Hub at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law.
