Open A.I.R. Methodology Workshop at University of Cape Town (UCT)

Ten Open A.I.R. case study researchers attended the project's Methodology Workshop on 4-5 June 2012 at the University of Cape Town (UCT). Facilitated by Open A.I.R. Methodology Consultant Dr. Donna Podems of OtherWISE, the workshop focussed on best practices when conducting case studies. Among the topics covered were qualitative sampling, ensuring methodological credibility, and writing-up of methodological matters. The training combined lectures with delegates applying the training to their in-progress case studies. Researchers from nine of the Open A.I.R. case studies were present. All 19 of the Open A.I.R. studies, which are nearing completion, are summarised on the Open A.I.R. website’s Research page.
